Method
- First, pour heavy cream into saucepan. Place over medium-low heat.
- Add cocoa powder to cream and use milk frother to mix together.
- Once cocoa powder has been well incorporated to cream, add sugar. Stir with silicone spatula until sugar is dissolved.
- Keep a careful eye on the cream/cocoa powder/sugar mixture, and stir occasionally until it starts to look a little frothy and begins to simmer.
- Once contents begin to simmer, immediately turn off heat.
- Add skim milk to the saucepan. Use silicone spatula to mix well.
- Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate. Use within 7-10 days.
